How do we feel good, wake up in the morning feeling rested, ready to face the day with the energy needed to do the things we have to do and hopefully have some time and energy left to enjoy the things we want to do? Isn't that today's modern day challenge in a nutshell?
There is no magic bullet or secret formula to make this happen.
Our best go-to strategies and tools to keep our energy and mood in balance have been with us all along. Back to basics is tried and true. But somewhere along the way, we threw the baby out with the bath water.
As we re-discover the wisdom of ancient traditions and return back to basics, we are pointed our way back to balance, health and healing- naturally. It's very simple but it's not easy.

The World of Therapy
The curse of pain befalls us all
The young and old, you see
The challenge is the remedy
But just what can it be?
Medicine the modern cure
A pill for every day
And should these fail to make us well
More pills are on their way.
What happened to the ancient cures
That served all of mankind?
There were no pills of any sort
No drug stores could you find.
Progress doesn't always mean
A discovery that is new
It's often times behind us
Ignored and pushed askew.
The miracle of magic hands
Detects the source of pain
With soothing strokes of therapy
Heal us once again.
We all must learn from history
For it repeats itself, you see
Before you stuff yourself with pills consider therapy.
What I know for sure- Burning the candle at both ends inevitably catches up with us. I have witnessed this with many clients over many years but I really learned this lesson the hard way. I now practice what I preach. Make the time. Push the pause button.
Above all, be kind to yourself. Listen to your body. Take time for rest and renewal. Treat yourself with love and compassion. Why? Because you're worth it. You deserve this and more!
