Well Hello SPRING!
We've had a ton of rain here in the northeast and flowers are blooming everywhere! The once bare trees are GREEN again!
I'm reminded each Spring of something Albert Einstein once said that always stuck with me : "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though EVERYTHING IS A MIRACLE!"
I planted my first garden 30 years ago in the Springtime while simultaneously preparing to launch and open Therapeutic Touch. I was living in a small cottage behind a big house in Bay Head and had an idea to grow my own herbs and flowers so I could make homemade aromatherapy massage oil. With a vision of a bricks outlining a purple and green garden, I decided to get my hands dirty and bring it to life. That first planting included lavender, lemon balm, rosemary and seeds for morning glory and wild flowers.
My herb & flower garden quickly became a metaphor for business and life.
That summer as I watched my garden come to life, I was filled with amazement and gratitude. I learned that a garden is a commitment. If you do your part, it'll grow and thrive. I learned that you can create and manifest what you believe. I learned to not water the weeds. Focus on what you want, not on what you don't want.
That was half my life ago. Now, today I'm 60 and reflecting 🙏. Miracles happened that summer in the garden and miracles still happen everyday at Therapeutic Touch.
All these years later, Therapeutic Touch is still my miracle garden. Yes, it's hard work but lots of fun. We're gearing up for our season. There's anticipation and excitement year after year of seeing the return of our summer clients and seasonal visitors. We have a beautiful blend and we enjoy our annual and perennial clients. Our phenomenal team of master therapists is waiting to get their hands on you. If your summer plans include the Jersey Shore, we hope to see you!
