Raise your hand if you’re a list maker. I am!
That’s a habit I learned from my MOM :)
Most days, I make my list and then get at it. Mornings are usually productive…exercise, chores and errands etc before I start work. But every now and then (more so in winter), I indulge in a nice SLOW morning. When I woke up this morning, we were fogged in. It was so peaceful and seemed like the perfect invitation for calm and reflection. I had my coffee a little slower and savored every sip. I made time to read a few inspiring emails that were waiting for me that I didn’t have time to read in the last couple days.
One of them was this wonderful list “50 Simple Things To Be Grateful For Today”
that I’m sharing with you below. (Thank you Nick Ortner!)
I read this list at least twice and made some observations. WOW so many simple things to be grateful for! If only, we allow ourselves the awareness to slow down to notice and take it all in. What a wonderful spiritual practice when we take the time to be grateful. Give it a try, and let me know if you grow a more grateful heart.
This week is my favorite week of the year. Besides Thanksgiving which is my favorite holiday for a very long time, it’s my birthday in just a few days. Having both these celebrations back to back is an invitation for reflection and gratitude. I count my many blessings and I’m immensely thankful for the wonderful life I’m living. Thank you for being part of it!
From my grateful heart to yours, I’m truly thankful!
Happy Thanksgiving!
