I was inspired to become a massage therapist after graduating from skincare school and doing facials at Therapeutic Touch back in 1997. My facial clients were requesting massage and it was the perfect complementary treatment.
How would you describe your therapeutic approach?
My approach is a blend of therapeutic treatment and relaxation geared to the individual. Many are looking to relieve stress along with a physical complaint due to activity or everyday demands on the body. Massage can help change patterns in the body which lead to an overall wellness.
Why do you believe that massage therapy can help?
I wish that less people regarded massage therapy as a treat or a luxury, it’s an important part of an overall wellness plan even on occasion.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Or What are your words to live by?My personal mantra is Be still, Be calm, Be kind for all of life’s situations.
What are your favorite self-care activities?
My favorite self-care activities are crafting. From handmade soapmaking & toiletry making to beading and hopefully soon to be learning how to knit.
